After a few minutes, oil is “pulled” or gently rubbed in between teeth by swishing it around the mouth, after few minutes of swishing the oil, if it gets milky white in colour and also becomes thinner then we can assume that the procedure has completed successfully.

After it completed successfully the leftover oil inside the mouth should be rinsed off with the help of clean warm saline water or tap water and then by rubbing the fingers on teeth or by regular brushing teeth can be cleaned.

Experts recommend that brushing is quite necessary as the bristles of your toothbrush are more effective than fingers and it helps in removing bad odour caused by oil pulling.

If during the procedure the jawline starts paining then the process should be stopped immediately as it may cause gum bleeding or soring.
