Oil Pulling – This Age-Old Technique Can Solve Your Bad Breath and Mouth Problems Permanently

Our mouth is part of the digestive tract. If your mouth is healthy the intestines will be healthy. Our mouth can reveal the state of our overall health. The bacteria and other microorganisms that inhabit our mouths influence our health and vis-a-versa. If these organisms find a way into our bloodstreams then it can cause serious illness.

Are you suffering from bad breath and problems related to teeth?

Do you want a natural way to thoroughly clean and detox your mouth as well as our lymph nodes and glands?

Then you must include ‘Oil pulling’ in your lifestyle.

Oil pulling is an Ayurvedic technique which is almost 5000 years old. Many of those who are following a yogic or organic lifestyle has been using this technique for several generations.

I have been using this technique since last 1 year and I have found it extremely beneficial. Since then Oil Pulling has replaced my regular dental visits.

Though it is thousand of years old technique it has gained a lot of popularity these days thanks to Dr.F. Karach. He has been lecturing about oil pulling and its wholesome benefits not only to maintain good dental hygiene but also overall health for quite some time now.

Many Indian celebrities who are leading a healthy lifestyle have also included Oil pulling in their daily routine.

What is oil pulling?

Oil pulling is a technique which involves filling the mouth with any vegetable-based oil, preferably sesame oil, coconut oil, sunflower oil or Sarson (Mustard) oil and keep on swishing it back and forth, through the teeth, for almost 3 minutes to 20 minutes.

The more time you can continue it the more deep cleansing you will get!

How to do oil pulling? (Refer my video for more information)

Take 2-3 tbsp of your preferred oil and put it in your mouth. (I prefer to use cold-pressed coconut oil)

Now keep swishing it first back and forth and then try to pull through the roof of the mouth and then try to swish through the teeth on either side. Continue this process as long as you can.

Try to continue this for a minimum of 3 minutes in the start and then gradually increase the time. (Maximum up to 20 minutes)

Make sure you don’t gulp it or it doesn’t go down your throat, as the oil is pulling all the harmful bacterias from your mouth.

After almost 1 minute you might feel a little pain in your jawline and cheeks.

You might also feel an instant urge of spitting out too but keep holding and swishing it.

During this process, you may feel sweaty or there might be some nasal discharge or watery eyes. This is a sign that this treatment is working and detoxing your body.

In some people, it occurs sooner and others, it may take a little longer.

Now if you feel some temporary flu-like symptoms such as cold or cough with mucus, or develop a temporary toothache, then don’t worry, this means the method is working. It is the way of cleansing our body naturally and nothing to worry about.

Once you are done, spit the whitish liquid in a disposable bag. Don’t spit it in your sink else it will clog it.

Now, rinse your mouth with salty warm water. Swish it also back and forth in order to clean the residue of oil as well as gargle with it.

Now, you can follow it by brushing your teeth the usual way and it’s done. It is that simple 🙂

The best time to do oil pulling is on an empty stomach when you wake up.

You can also continue 3 times a day half an hour or an hour before every meal on an empty stomach.

How does Oil Pulling work?

By continuously swishing oil in our mouth, oil pulls away the harmful bacterias and other germs from each and every corner of our mouth where our brush can’t reach.

These bacterias get dissolved in the oil and get discarded when we spit.

Oil pulling also cleanses our lymph nodes and glands thoroughly and removes the toxins leaving our breath fresh and clean.

Consider Oil pulling like a vacuum cleaner which sucks viruses, bacteria and fungus out of our body.

Oil pulling benefits:

Some reports state that oil pulling also sucks toxins out of the bloodstream through a vein under our tongue. The mouth absorbs essential fatty acids from the oil, it activates special detoxifying enzymes in the saliva, and this balances the body’s natural energy flow, and so forth- all of which have little credibility.

If you are suffering from bad breath or problems related to teeth, then you should try this method at least for a month! Trust me you will see a visible difference. It also helps to whiten our teeth gradually.

It removes plaque and relieves inflammation and infections of gums. Maintains mouth’s health and prevents cavities.

Oil pulling also dramatically relieves all our skin problems.

It is a powerful therapy which also cures depression, anxiety issues. You can have sound sleep if you are suffering from sleep issues.

Oil pulling helps to cure chronic fatigue and you feel more energised.

It also improves our digestive system. Our digestion process starts when we chew our food and this leaves its residue in our mouth and throat. Which causes bacterias and thus starts all the diseases.

Do try this technique for at least a month for positive results.

I would personally recommend you to get habituated to this and make it a part of your daily routine.

I am sure after seeing its results you would thank me later 🙂
